What is QLED Technology?

Developed exclusively by Samsung, the world’s first cadmium-free Quantum dots are the nano-sized particles that turn light into the brilliant Billion of Colors you see on QLED TVs. The Samsung QLED is composed of inorganic materials which provide consistently bright, vivid image quality that lasts.
Definitions:
OLED – Organic Light Emitting Diode
4K – (UHD or Ultra High Definition) defined as something around (3840 x 2160 pixel resolution) or 8,294,400 pixels or 4K progressive or 4 X HD resolution.
QLED – Quantum Light Emitting Diode
2K – 2,048,000 pixels resolution
WUXGA – 1,920×1,200 pixels
1080p – 1,920×1,080 Full HD (High Definition)
That all being said, probably your current TV (unless it’s really new) is HD, either 720p or, more likely, 1080p. New 4K Ultra HD TVs have four times as many pixels as 1080p.
So which one is best? Again, it’s always up to your need and budget.
